Ratings: ‘Bachelor’ Finale Dips Slightly, ‘Believe’ Scores Solid Debut

Dating competition’s “After the Final Rose” tops “The Voice” in 10 p.m. hour

ABC hit a season high on Monday to top the ratings competition, despite a slightly down “Bachelor” finale.

The dating competition’s post-show, “After the Final Rose,” actually topped “The Voice” in the 10 p.m. hour, with a night-leading 3.8 to a 3.7. ABC likewise edged-out NBC overall by one-tenth of a ratings point in the key demo.

For NBC, “Believe” debuted with a solid 2.7 in the advertiser-sought 18-49 demographic. NBC topped primetime in viewers, ABC was second.

ABC was first in ratings with a 3.4 rating/10 share, and second in viewers with an average of 10 million, according to preliminary numbers. “The Bachelor” at 8 p.m. earned a 3.2/9 and 9.6 million viewers. The “After the Final Rose” special aired at 10 and had 11 million viewers.

NBC finished second, with a 3.3/10 and first in viewers with 12.6 million. “The Voice” at 8 pulled in 13.6 million viewers, the most of the night. The 3.7 rating for “The Voice” tied a season low. “Believe” premiered next and had 10.7 million viewers.

CBS and Fox tied for third, each with a 1.6/5. CBS was third in views with 6.6 million viewers; Fox was fourth with 5.7 million viewers.

For CBS, “How I Met Your Mother” at 8 earned a 2.7/9 and 7.7 million viewers. Following a rerun, at 9, “Mike & Molly” received a 1.8/5 — a new low — and 7.7 million viewers. Following another repeat, “Intelligence” at 10 got a 1.3/3 and 6.5 million viewers.

For Fox, the time period premiere of “Bones” at 8 had a 1.7/5 and 6.5 million viewers. At 9, “The Following” got a 1.5/4 and 4.9 million viewers.

Coming in fifth was Univision, with a 1.0/3 and in viewers with 2.6 million.

Telemundo was sixth in ratings with a 0.4/1 and 1.2 million viewers.

The CW came in seventh, with a 0.2/1 and in total viewers with 926,000. “Star-Crossed” at 8 had a 0.3/1 and 1 million viewers. “Beauty & the Beast” at 9 got a 0.2/1 and 807,000.
