Ratings: NBC’s Olympic Swimming Trial Finals, ‘Ninja Warrior’ Win All-American Night

“The Bachelorette” tops both its hours, but ABC is again dragged down by “Mistresses”

“The Bachelorette” won another individual red rose on Monday, but NBC took home the overall gold medal.

With the finals of the U.S. Olympic Swimming Trials and “American Ninja Warrior,” NBC topped primetime on an average basis. ABC, dragged down once more by “Mistresses,” settled for second.

Still, “The Bachelorette” was Monday evening’s top individual show over both of its hours.

NBC was first in ratings with a 1.7 rating/6 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and in total viewers with an average of 6.1 million, according to preliminary numbers. The swimming trials at 8 p.m. ET posted a 1.2/5 and 5.2 million viewers. At 9, “American Ninja Warrior” earned a 1.9/7 and 6.5 million viewers.

ABC was second in ratings with a 1.5/6 and in viewers with 5.5 million. “The Bachelorette” at 8 p.m. ET scored a 1.9/7 and 6.8 million viewers. At 10, “Mistresses” managed a 0.7/2 and 3 million viewers.

CBS and Univision tied for third in ratings, both with a 0.7. CBS had a 3 share, Univision had a 2 share. CBS was third in total viewers with 4 million, Univision was fifth with 1.9 million.

For CBS, following reruns, “BrainDead” at 10 p.m. ET received a 0.5/2 and 3.3 million viewers.

Fox and Telemundo tied for fifth in ratings, both with a 0.6/2. Fox was fourth in total viewers with 2.4 million, Telemundo was seventh with 1.5 million.

For Fox, “So You Think You Can Dance” at 8 p.m. ET had a 0.9/3 and 3 million viewers. At 9, “Houdini & Doyle” got a 0.4/1 and 1.8 million viewers.

The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.4/2 and sixth in viewers with 1.7 million, airing repeats.
