Twitter users let their hair down and had a good laugh on Tuesday, after the Barbie doll line introduced an array of new Ken dolls, one of them sporting a man bun.

“New Ken doll has a man-bun. Climbing back into bed,” actor Zach Braff wisecracked of the new variety of doll.

“Barbie’s bff, Ken, now comes with a man bun or cornrows,” author Stephen King weighed in. “You go with your bad self, Kenny.”

“Does man bun Ken doll also come with a Soul Cycle membership, vintage record player, and $50,000 in student loan debt?” one member of the Twitterati asked.

“Mattel’s ‘Next Gen Ken’ is 24 years old, has two DUI’s and is going back to school next year,” mused another wiseacre.

On Tuesday, the Barbie line of dolls announced the expansion of its Fashionistas collection, which now includes 15 new and diverse Ken dolls, featuring three body types — slim, broad and original — and a variety of skin tones, eye colors, hairstyles and modern fashion looks.

In 2016, Barbie introduced three new Barbie body types — tall, curvy and petite — along with new skin tones, eye colors, hairstyles and countless on-trend fashions and accessories.

“By continuing to expand our product line, we are redefining what a Barbie or Ken doll looks like to this generation,” said Lisa McKnight, senior vice president and general manager, Barbie. “Evolving Ken was a natural evolution for the brand and allows girls to further personalize the role they want him to play in Barbie’s world.”

Ken now comes in seven different skin tones, eight hair colors, nine hairstyles, and fashions ranging from casual business attire to athletic wear. The brand is also introducing 25 additional diverse Barbie dolls.
