Battle Over? Sheen Tweets He’s Reached a Deal With Mueller

“Two and a Half Men” star says he’s avoided a court date with soon-to-be ex-wife

Looks like Charlie Sheen and his soon to be ex-wife Brooke Mueller have reached some sort of settlement … at least according to the “Two and a Half Men” actor’s Twitter page.

“Not sure what all the legal noise is about… just verbally reached a deal with B. no court mon. yay…” said Sheen online around 2:15 p.m. PST.

He followed that up with “..yet the opposition felt it necessary to still harass me with old gibberish…. odd? perhaps. transparent? you betcha’!”

And of course, Charlie being so Sheen, he then added his catch phrase “#WINNING#teamsheen” in one last Tweet.

Attempts by TheWrap to reach either Sheen or Mueller’s lawyers were not returned immediately.

This comes two days after Mueller, whose divorce from the actor was set early February to be finalized on May 2, regained custody of the couple’s young twins Bob and Max and got a restraining order against Sheen.

Sheen, who went into rehab and put the CBS hit sitcom on hiatus on Jan. 28 after a number of benders and hospitalizations, has been in a media frenzy since the cancellation of the rest of “Two and a Half Men’s” season on Feb. 24. The cancellation by CBS and Warner Brothers Television came after a series of public and vitriolic attacks on series creator Chuck Lorre by Sheen.

In the court documents Mueller filed to get her boys, she stated that Sheen had sent anti-Sematic texts about Lorre, as well as threaten to decapitate her. Claims Sheen denies.

The troubles between Mueller and Sheen, who married in May 2008, became public knowledge after a Christmas 2009 domestic violence incident in Aspen.  After months in and out of court, the actor was eventually slapped with a misdemeanor third-degree assault.

Sheen filed divorce papers on Mueller in early November 2010, a week after he was found raving and naked in his New York City hotel suite, with a porn star cowering in the bathroom and his ex-wife Denise Richards and their two daughters asleep down the hall.

Not that things between Mueller and Sheen ended there.

Mueller, who reportedly had moved back in with Sheen, joined the actor and two other women, one of whom was porn star Bree Olson, for a trip to the Bahamas in late February but soon departed.

In an interview not long afterwards, Sheen said of Mueller’s participation. “There was a huge firestorm about Brooke being part of our crew but where there were four there are now three … Goodbye, Brooke and good luck on your travels. You’re going to need it. Badly.”

Or perhaps not Charlie.
