BIFAs Show Love for ‘Moon’

British film awards also honor “Big Fish,” “An Education”

The British Independent Film Awards spread its honors widely Sunday but Duncan Jones’ "Moon" shone brightest, winning film and debut director kudos.

"Fish Tank" also hooked double honors with prizes for director – Andrea Arnold – and newcomer – Katie Jarvis.

Although nommed in six categories, "An Education" majored in just one, with Carey Mulligan nabbing the actress award.
