“Big Little Lies” actress Kathryn Newton is the latest edition to Martin McDonagh‘s starry “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.”

Newton will play Angela, the slain daughter of an enraged Frances McDormand, TheWrap has learned.

To motivate a police investigation of Angela’s rape and murder — led by lagging locals Woody Harrelson and Sam Rockwell — McDormand purchases space on three billboards outside her small town and stirs major controversy with their content.

“Game of Thrones” star Peter Dinklage, John Hawkes, Abbie Cornish and Caleb Landry Jones round out the cast.

The project was developed by Film4 and co-financed by Fox Searchlight, who will distribute the film worldwide. Graham Broadbent and Peter Czernin of Blueprint Pictures will produce with McDonagh.

Netwon, who was also a lead in 2012’s “Paranormal Activity 4,” is repped by Innovative Artists and Management 360.

She’ll next be seen in Jean-Marc Vallée’s hotly anticipated limited series “Lies,” as daughter to Reese Witherspoon. That adaptation also stars Nicole Kidman, Alexander Skarsgard, Shailene Woodley, Laura Dern and Adam Scott.
