The College Years: When TV's High-School Characters Graduate

It seems like only yesterday that the fresh-faced teens of the CW’s "90210" were roaming the halls of West Beverly High. Now, like so many other teen dramas, the kids are off to college. Will the show thrive? Will it falter? Will it land somewhere in the middle? Only time (and ratings) will tell.

That i mind, I thought it would be interesting to take a look at some other television transitions into the world of higher education.

Andy Richter Hosting 'Pyramid' -- Why It Makes Sense

A while ago, TBS announced Andy Richter would be hosting an update of the classic game show "Pyramid." 

Richter joins a long list of celebrity game show hosts and is taking the reins of "Pyramid" from heavy hitters Dick Clark and Donny Osmond before him.

Even before that, Richard Dawson gained fame on the show "Hogan’s Heroes" and later as a panelist on "Match Game" before becoming the original host of "Family Feud." Dawson’s name will be forever associated with "Family Feud," as his habit of kissing women on the show has become famous.
