Bobby Jindal is stepping off the campaign trail.
The Louisiana governor has ended his GOP presidential campaign, telling Fox News, “It’s not my time,” USA Today reports.
Jindal had entered the race in June.
The home page of Jindal’s campaign reads, “Thank you — Bobby Jindal,” with a silhouette of the former candidate waving.
Jindal hadn’t fared well in the polls, and had been relegated to the preliminary debates among the GOP candidates.
Jindal’s campaign has not yet responded to TheWrap’s request for comment.
