Brad Pitt Has No Friends in ‘The Counselor’ Trailer (Video)

The trailer for Ridley Scott's latest film features a star-studded cast and one big game cat

"If your definition of a friend is someone who will die for you, you don't have any friends," Brad Pitt opines in the trailer for "The Counselor" released on Tuesday.

"You may think there are things that these people are simply incapable of," Pitt continued. "They are not."

The film follows the story of an attorney (Michael Fassbender) who finds himself in over his head when he gets involved in some low-level drug trafficking. The glamorous life explodes with violence. No word yet on whether or not the cheetah from the trailer gets involved.

"The Counselor" was written by Cormac McCarthy (who wrote the novel "No Country for Old Men") and directed by Ridley Scott.

The film also stars Cameron Diaz, Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem. It is due in theaters Oct. 25.
