Their conversation spoiled not only the shocking turn at the end of the first season, but it also touched on developments in the latest season as well. In other words, there be “GoT” spoilers ahead.

While Ferguson talked about how the show was sometimes a little too violent for him, Cooper wanted even more. In particular, he felt disappointed that Tywin Lannister (Charles Dance) didn’t suffer more at the hands of his son, Peter Dinklage‘s Tyrion, before dying.

He wanted Tyrion to linger and watch his father pass away, as it was done in the film “L.A. Confidential.” He felt it was what he deserved after a lifetime of suffering at his father’s behest, capped with the final insult of dad sleeping with his prostitute lover.
