Brandy Norwood would “absolutely” take a part on Fox’s hit music business drama “Empire.”

The actress and singer said she would accept an offer “in a heart beat” on Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live” on Sunday when host Andy Cohen inquired about possible involvement in show created by Lee Daniels and Danny Strong.

“I keep hearing that question,” Norwood, who appeared on the talk show alongside “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kandi Burruss, said.

After discussing her many songwriting credits, including several Destiny’s Child hits, Burruss said she thinks “RHOA” would “be fine” without NeNe Leakes, if the drama queen ever left the reality series.

“I know everybody’s like, ‘Oh, that would be crazy,’ but people thought it was going to be crazy when Kim Zolciak left the show, and our ratings went up. They didn’t go down,” Burruss said. “And I just feel like we gotta remember that the show is not about one person, it’s about everybody.”

“I think she’s great, don’t get me wrong,” Burruss said. “I think she’s great for the show, I just think the show is bigger than one person. If that was the case, her show by herself would have had the same numbers as ‘Housewives.’”

Watch Norwood talk “Empire” below, followed by Burruss discussing the future of “RHOA.”
