Bravo Greenlights ‘Game of Crowns,’ About Moms on the Pageant Circuit

"Game of Crowns" will revolve aroud a group of moms who'll stop at nothing to get that tiara

Bravo Media is getting into the beauty-pageant business with a new reality series, the company announced Wednesday.

The new series, which bears the working title "Game of Crowns," will follow six "pageant wives" as they work the competitive pageant circuit, doing whatever it takes to claim the crown, "even if it means competing against their own teen-age daughters."

"These wives and mothers live like royalty with wealthy husbands, grand homes and couture gowns, but they are not satisfied without a title and a crown to top it off," Bravo Media said in a release. "From trophy wives to pageant moms, these ultra-competitive ladies share their love of the game and will stop at nothing to win local and national pageants for beauty queen status. In this world of boobs, botox and butt glue, the women pay top dollar for perfection at any price."

The cast for this celebration of superficiality includes Susanna Paliotta, Mrs Nation USA 2013; Shelley Carbone, a/k/a Mrs. America 2011, eyewear entrepreneur and Mrs. Rhode Island winner Lynne Diamante; former Mrs. Connecticut Vanassa Sebastian; Mrs. Rhode Island 2013 Leha Guilmette; and  Lori-Ann Marchese — who, as Mrs. Connecticut 2013, will face off against Guilmette in the 2013 Mrs. America Pageant. (Hold onto your tiaras; it's bound to get intense. Or at least catty.)
