The season finale was viewed by 1.2 million total viewers, an increase of 12 percent over the previous week's episode. Of those viewers, 680,000 fall in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic, an eight percent increase over the last episode.
“Southern Charm,” which followed the romantic entanglements of well-to-do gents and the women that surrounded them, has not yet been renewed for a second season.

On the finale, political Peter Pan Thomas Ravanel took viewers on a roller coaster ride. After finding out that girlfriend Kathryn C. Dennis had slept with three other “Southern Charm” castmembers in the span of three weeks, he decided to break up with her. That probably lasted about one day, because the program fast-forwarded to nine months later with Thomas cradling his new daughter.

Next Monday, the cast reunites at 10 p.m. for a special hosted by Andy Cohen. The following Monday, May 5 at 10 p.m., Bravo will air the clip show, “Southern Charm's Secrets Revealed,” with never-before-seen footage from the show.
