‘Breaking Bad’ Actor Mark Margolis Joins Darren Aronofsky’s ‘Noah’

Mark Margolis will play Samyaza opposite Russell Crowe and Jennifer Connelly

Mark Margolis, best known for playing an ornery former drug cartel enforcer on "Breaking Bad," is joining the cast of Darren Aronofsky’s biblical epic "Noah," his publicist told TheWrap.

Margolis, whose character met an explosive end on the AMC series, will play Samyaza, who according to Jewish and Christian tradition is a fallen angel.

Margolis is something of a good luck charm for Aronofsky, having worked on nearly every one of his films stretching back to his directorial debut with 1998's "Pi." He's also etched memorable supporting roles in such Aronofsky productions as "The Wrestler" and "Black Swan."

His latest collaboration with the director stars Russell Crowe as the "Noah" of ark fame, along with a cast that includes Emma Watson, Jennifer Connelly and Anthony Hopkins.

Margolis is represented by Robert Attermann of Abrams Artists Agency and co-managed by Rob Kolker of Red Letter Entertainment and Van Johnson of the Van Johnson Company.
