Grazer, who runs Imagine Entertainment with Ron Howard, is still looking for someone to write the book with him, a process that can be time consuming.

“For the past 25 years, Brian has always been curious, always wanted to meet a new person every week or every couple of weeks outside of the movie business,” Michael Rosenberg, president of entertainment at Imagine, told TheWrap.“He’s met with Nobel Prize winners, Jonas Salk, heads of state. He just has this unbelievable hunger and thirst to learn more about things outside of his comfort zone.”

Those meetings will serve as the foundation for this book, tentatively titled “Curiosities.” The deal is worth a reported six figures.

Grazer, whose film credits include "Apollo 13" and Oscar winner "A Beautiful Mind," is currently at work on "Rush," a biopic of Formula 1 champion Niki Lauda that Howard is directing.
