Recently shaved your head? Find yourself needing to fend off pesky paparazzi, but lack a proper implement to do so?

Do we have an auction item for you.

A decade after Britney Spears famously battled a paparazzo with an umbrella, the videographer on the receiving end of Spears’ wrath is putting the singer’s weapon of choice up for auction.

Daniel “Dano” Ramos told Broadly this week that he vows to donate half of the proceeds from the sale to Spears’ charity of choice.

In a wide-ranging interview, Ramos, who quit the paparazzi game in 2013, recalled that Spears was initially friendly with the paparazzi, but her demeanor had clearly changed on that fateful 2007 night, days after she abandoned a stay in rehab.

“She knew us already from being out in the streets,” Ramos recounted. “We didn’t know [something was wrong]. We were just going on a daily basis until we figured out what was happening at the time was not good. At the Mobil gas station [on the night of the umbrella incident], I told her I was worried about her.”

“It was a bad moment in her life,” Ramos said. “Unfortunately it was captured.”

And now, an artifact from that bad moment can be yours. As an added bonus, with all of the rain that’s been pounding Los Angeles recently, it might be practical as well as historical.
