Brooklyn Decker, Ethan Embry Join Netflix’s ‘Grace & Frankie’

They’ll play the adult children of the lead characters on the comedy starring Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin

Netflix is introducing some kids with problems into the mix of its upcoming Jane Fonda/Lily Tomlin comedy, “Grace & Frankie.” Brooklyn Decker and Ethan Embry have joined the cast of the 13-episode series.

The single-camera, half-hour comedy finds Fonda’s Grace and Tomlin’s Frankie facing the last chapter of their lives together after their husbands unexpectedly marry each other.

Decker will play Mallory, the younger daughter of Grace’s ex-husband Robert, portrayed by Martin Sheen. A classic beauty like Grace, Mallory modeled her marriage after her parents. and now that their relationship has blown up, she doubts all aspects of the choices she’s made in her life.

Represented by Gersh and Authentic, Decker has starred on CBS’s “Friends With Better Lives” and appeared on FXX’s “The League.”

Embry will play Coyote, the charismatic son of Frankie and ex-husband Sol, played by Sam Waterston. With a record of being self-destructive, Coyote has a history of drug abuse. But, he’s reaching 90 days of sobriety and he’s determined to get his life back on track.

Embry had a recurring roll on ABC’s “Once Upon a Time” and has appeared in a long list of television shows, including CBS’s “Hawaii Five-0,” “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” and ABC’s “Grey’s Anatomy.” Embry is repped by APA and Nelson Davis Wetzstein.

“Grace & Frankie” premieres next year.
