Ratings: ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ Gets Season Finale Bump

CBS tops Tuesday

Fox’s season finale of Golden Globe-winner “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” got an 18 percent bump in the ratings as CBS topped Tuesday.

CBS’ “Person of Interest” had the same 18 percent uptick.

CBS had a 2.3 rating/7 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and an average of 15 million total viewers, according to preliminary numbers. “NCIS” at 8 p.m. earned a 2.5/8 and 17.3 million viewers — the most of the night. “NCIS: Los Angeles” at 9 received a 2.4/7 and 15.5 million viewers. “Person of Interest” at 10 had a 2.0/6 and 12.3 million viewers.

NBC was second in ratings with a 2.1/6 and in viewers with 7.8 million. “The Voice” at 8 was Tuesday’s highest-rated show, with a 3.3/11, and had 12.3 million viewers. “About a Boy” at 9 earned a 2.0/6 and 7.8 million viewers. “Growing Up Fisher” at 9:30 got a 1.7/5 and 6.4 million viewers. A rerun followed.

Univision and Fox tied for third in ratings, each with a 1.2/3. Univision was third in viewers with 3 million, Fox was fourth with 2.6 million.

For Fox, “Glee” at 8 had a 1.1/3 and 2.7 million viewers. “New Girl” at 9 got a 1.2/4 — tying a low — and 2.5 million viewers. The season finale of “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” at 9:30 received a 1.3/4 and 2.6 million viewers.

ABC and The CW tied for fifth in ratings, each with a 0.7/2. ABC was fifth in viewers with 2.3 million, The CW was sixth with 1.8 million.

For ABC, following repeats, “Mind Games” at 10 had a 0.6/2 and 1.9 million viewers.

For The CW, following a rerun, “Supernatural” at 9 got a 0.9/3 and 2.1 million viewers.

Telemundo was seventh in ratings with a 0.5/1 and in total viewers with 1.2 million.
