Bruce Willis Totally Cops Out in ‘Moonrise Kingdom’ Clip (Video)

"Die Hard" vet plays a very different kind of police officer in Wes Anderson's "Moonrise Kingdom"

Bruce Willis is back to playing a law-enforcement agent — but this character's a long way off from his "Die Hard" badass John McClane.

In his latest film "Moonrise Kingdom," Willis plays a local New England sheriff who's called into action when a couple of lovestruck 12-year-olds run away together into the wilderness as a violent storm starts brewing off-shore.

Part of Willis' plan to find the missing lovebirds? Deputizing a young member of a scout troop. And we're betting that there's not a single mega-explosion to be had, either.

The Wes Anderson-directed "Moonrise Kingdom" which also stars Edward Norton, Bill Murray, Frances McDormand, Tilda Swinton and Jason Schwartzman, opens in select theaters May 25. In the meantime, check out a clip for the film below.
