Bryan Cranston, Julia Roberts Among This Year’s Emmy Presenters

Amy Poehler also among first round of presenters announced

“Breaking Bad” and “The Normal Heart” stars Bryan Cranston and Julia Roberts are among the first round of presenters for this year’s Emmy Awards, the Television Academy said Monday.

Both Cranston and Roberts are nominated for awards this year.

Other presenters for this year’s ceremony, which takes place Aug. 25 and will be hosted by Seth Meyers, include “Extant” star Halle Berry, “New Girl” star Zooey Deschanel, and “True Detective” stars Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson, both of whom have been nominated for their work on the HBO drama.

Also handing out trophies this year: “The Voice” coaches Adam Levine and Gwen Stefani; “Veep” star Julia Louis-Dreyfus; “The Good Wife” star Julianna Margulies; “Parks and Recreation” actress Amy Poehler; “The Big Bang Theory” star and current Emmy nominee Jim Parsons; and “Scandal” star Kerry Washington.

The 66th Emmy Awards will air live at 5 p.m. ET/8 p.m. PT on NBC.
