CAA Acquires Sports Agency Inside Sports & Entertainment

ISEG manages more than 250 events across the world

CAA has acquired hospitality and marketing agency Inside Sports & Entertainment Group, bolstering CAA’s already robust sports division. Inside, founded in 2004, manages more than 250 events a year and has partnerships with teams, leagues, and venues across the world.

The 25-person company counts Microsoft, Verizon and American Express as clients.

“We have enjoyed a longstanding relationship with the team at Inside Sports & Entertainment Group, and have always been impressed by their stellar reputation, commitment to customer service, and level of innovation,” Michael Levine, Co-Head of CAA Sports, said in a statement.  “This expertise will be complementary to our existing sales and marketing efforts, providing a suite of additional service opportunities for our clients in such areas as corporate hospitality, event management and production, and beyond.”

CAA Sports is the most powerful representative of on-field talent in sports and it also helps franchises negotiate deals for new arenas and brands sponsor said arenas. It has acquired Inside a few months after rival WME acquired IMG, one of the largest sports marketing, events and representation companies in the world.
