‘Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare,’ ‘Far Cry Primal’ Score WGA Video Game Nominations

“MR. ROBOT 1.51exfiltratiOn” and “Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End” also nominated for outstanding video game writing

“Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare,” “Far Cry Primal,” “MR. ROBOT 1.51exfiltratiOn” and “Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End” have been nominated for outstanding achievement in video game writing during 2016 by The Writers Guild of America, West and the Writers Guild of America, East.

The winner will be announced at concurrent ceremonies in Los Angeles and New York on Feb. 19.

“Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End,” Written by Neil Druckmann, Josh Scherr; Additional Writing Tom Bissell, Ryan James; Naughty Dog

The WGA’s award honors the best qualifying script from a video game released between Dec. 1, 2015 and Nov. 30, 2016, and feature on-screen writing credits. Writers must be members of the WGA Videogame Writers Caucus or in the process of applying at the time their scripts were submitted. Game writing that was not produced under WGA jurisdiction was also eligible for submission.

The award is judged by panels made up of Videogame Writers Caucus members and/or guild members otherwise active in video game writing.
