The seventh and final season of HBO’s popular vampire drama premieres Sunday
It wasn’t just vampires roaming the swamps of Bon Temps, Louisiana, and the Sookie/Bill/Eric triangle wasn’t the only romantic entanglement on HBO’s “True Blood.” In case you missed a subplot or two, the network released a video recapping everything you need to know before tuning in for the premiere of the seventh and final season on Sunday night.
Sookie Stackhouse and her gang of supernatural friends and foes have been heating up HBO for 70 episodes, but you won’t need to binge-watch it all to prepare for Sunday. In just nine short minutes, you can relive Sookie (Anna Paquin) and Bill’s (Stephen Moyer) first meeting, the vampire birth of Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll), Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) and Nora’s (Lucy Griffith) close sibling relationship, and much more.
At the end of season 6, hordes of vampires infected by Hepatitis-V — from contaminated bottles of True Blood — began to attack Bon Temps. When season 7 kicks off, it appears help is nowhere to be found.
The final season of “True Blood” kicks off with an episode titled “Jesus Gonna Be Here” on Sunday night at 9pm on HBO.
