Ratings: ‘Big Brother’ Racism Episode Is Highest-Rated of the Night as CBS and Fox Tie

Univision finishes in third

Fox and CBS tied in the ratings Sunday as a "Big Brother" episode that highlighted two competitors' racist remarks was the top-rated show of the night.

Fox and CBS tied with a 1.2 rating/4 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic, according to preliminary numbers. CBS was first in total viewers with 5.4 million, while Fox, airing repeats, came in forth in total viewers with 2.7 million.

At 7, "60 Minutes" earned a 1.0/3 and 7.6 million viewers, the most total viewers on the night. At 8, "Big Brother" received a 2.1/6 and had 6.3 million viewers. CBS aired reruns for the rest of the night.

Univision finished third in ratings with a 1.1/3 and fifth in total viewers with 2.4 million.

NBC and ABC tied for fourth in ratings with a 0.9/3. NBC came in second in total viewers with 3.7 million. ABC came in third with 3.3 million.

NBC aired reruns except for a new "Crossing Lines" at 10. It had a .6/2 and 2.9 million viewers.

At 8, ABC's "Celebrity Wife Swap" received a 0.9/3 and 2.9 million viewers. A new "Whodunnit?" at 9 p.m. earned a 1.0/3 and 3 million viewers. Otherwise the network aired repeats.

Telemundo was sixth in ratings with a 0.6/2 and 1.6 million total viewers.
