‘Big Brother’ Adds a Saboteur Houseguest

CBS’ summer reality show plans a new twist that will involve audience participation with the undercover plant

The houseguest contestants on the CBS summer reality series "Big Brother" will have a saboteur among them.

His or her mission: to carry out viewer suggestions on how to best disrupt the lives of fellow players.
"Big Brother" this season premieres at 8 p.m. July 8. Then, beginning on July 11, episodes will air three nights weekly: Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Viewers will learn the identity of the saboteur in the house on air. Of course, houseguests do not have access to TV or any outside communication while the game is on. Once revealed, viewers will be able to submit suggestions to the saboteur on ways to wreak havoc.
This season's house will be outfitted with over 52 cameras and 95 microphones to record the guests 24 hours a day. Each week a guest will be voted off by fellow guests; the winner will receive a $500,00 cash prize.
