CBS is sticking with a bigger bang on Monday nights.
The network has decided to continue airing back-to-back episodes of its hit comedy “The Big Bang Theory” on Mondays for the next three weeks, with new episodes airing at 8 p.m. and repeats of different episodes airing at 8:30.

On Monday, CBS launched its season with back-to-back airings of “The Big Bang Theory” at 8 to 8:30. The episodes easily scored the top two ratings slots of the night, drawing a 5.3 rating/17 share and a 5.4/15 in the advertiser coveted 18-49 demographic, respectively.
Alas, the bonus “Big Bang” episodes mean that the sophomore comedy “Mom,” which was initially scheduled to premiere its second season on Sept. 29, has had its season premiere bumped to Oct. 30 at 8:30 p.m., as part of the network’s Thursday night comedy block. “Mom” will return to Mondays on Jan. 5.
“The Millers,” which was scheduled to premiere its new season Oct. 30, will now premiere its new season Oct. 20.
