CBS has promoted Andy Kubitz to senior vice president, program planning & scheduling, the network announced on Wednesday.
In this position, Kubitz will continue to be responsible for the scheduling of CBS's primetime series, specials, television movies and mini-series.
He will also help oversee the scheduling of The CW and coordinating CBS's theatrical acquisitions.
A 15-year CBS veteran, Kubitz has played a key part in planning the last nine CBS fall schedules.
Since 2006, he has served as vice president, program planning & scheduling.
