Channing Tatum Spoofs Jean-Claude Van Damme’s ‘Epic Split’ on ’22 Jump Street’ Set (Video)

Tatum’s “22 Jump Street” character’s body is also engineered to defy the law of physics — for a little bit, at least

Days after Jean Claude Van Damme’s “epic split” for Volvo went viral, Channing Tatum decided to test the strength of his own legs on the set of “22 Jump Street.”

While JCVD’s stunt was performed to demonstrate the stability and precision of Volvo Dynamic Steering, Tatum’s attempt to “master the most epic of splits” was designed to demonstrate the stability and precision of the movie set’s food carts.
