Charlie Sheen has been released from the hospital and will be on the set of "Two and a Half Men" on Tuesday, his rep said in a statement Friday.
The actor was at home, said his rep, Stan Rosenfield, who didn't respond to an emailed inquiry about whether Sheen's release means he won't undergo surgery Friday for a hernia. An insider in the Sheen camp told TheWrap Thursday that the actor might undergo the surgery.

Sheen was rushed to the Cedars-Sinai hospital early Thursday with what Rosenfield said were "severe abdominal pains." But other speculation about the source of his maladies abounded.
TMZ reported Sheen was reportedly partying at his home in the 36 hours before his hospitalization, and, citing "a source inside the house," said a briefcase full of cocaine was delivered. The site said Sheen "began doing the drug for several hours."
Extra, meanwhile, reported that Steve Brodersen, who it identified as a friend of Sheen, said the actor hurt himself laughing too hard.
A senior Warner Brothers executive told TheWrap on Thursday that the television production studio and CBS are focused on getting Sheen healthy, and that shooting next week on "Two and a Half Men" may have to be postponed as a result.
The executive said it was unclear if Sheen would be in shape to return to the scheduled shoot Tuesday if he underwent surgery. But the executive said that didn’t matter.
“The show is secondary,” the executive said. “What’s important is Charlie Sheen getting healthy.”
