Charlie Sheen Speaks From Rehab, Says ‘Thank You’

“Two and a Half Men” star praises CBS and Warner Bros. execs and compares himself to Errol Flynn

Charlie Sheen, in rehab since Friday, finally speaks!

In a statement Wednesday, the “Two and a Half Men” star praised CBS and Warner Bros. execs for their support. He also reached out to the cast and crew of his hit sitcom, which has gone on hiatus while the star is in a treatment program.

Sheen, who has had a year of court appearances, rehab stints, benders with porn stars, hospitalizations and divorce proceedings, compared himself to Errol Flynn – the swashbuckling Hollywood hero of the 1930s and author of the autobiography “My Wicked Wicked Ways.”

Here is the full statement from Sheen:

“I have a lot of work to do to be able to return the support  I have received from so many people.

I want to say “thank-you” to my fellow cast members, the crew of “Two and a Half Men”, and everyone at CBS and Warner Bros., especially Les Moonves and Bruce Rosenblum for their concern and support.

And to my fans, your good wishes have touched me very much.

Like Errol Flynn, who had to put down his sword on occasion,  I just want to say, ‘thank-you.’“
