Charlie Sheen Spoofs His Infamous ’20/20′ Interview (Video)

The former “Two and a Half Men” actor takes time out from his touring schedule to post a response to ABC on YouTube

For once, there's some Charlie Sheen news that isn't entirely negative.

After a trying start on Saturday in Detroit to his much-hyped, much-disastrous live tour, and a follow-up show on Sunday in Chicago that seemed to be reviewed well only because it wasn't a total trainwreck, Sheen needed a hit of positivity.

Enter "Charlie Sheen: The Unedited Version," a loopy parody video response to his legendary "20/20" interview that the actor unveiled as part of his stage show and is now racking up the hits on YouTube.

The best quote of the seven-minute video? When he says "Electric bouillabaise right from Jump Street" in (fake) response to interviewer Andrea Canning's question about whether he is on drugs.

The best bit of acting? When Sheen convincingly eats a taco while wearing an Elmo bib.

The best cameo? When Kevin Cronin from REO Speedwagon shows up to strum a few chords from the 1981 hit "Take It on the Run."

Seeing Sheen clearly enjoying himself here as he did in his recent Funny or Die spoof makes us think that acting might have been his best route to redemption after being let go by "Two and a Half Men" rather than turning himself into an international spectacle. "Major League 4," anyone?
