Chris Evans, Channing Tatum and Scarlett Johansson Launch First-Ever MTV Movie Awards Takeover

Sneak peeks of “Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” “22 Jump Street” to be revealed during five-day promotional event

The MTV Movie Awards is getting a big push from Captain America, Black Widow and Magic Mike.

To boost awareness of the upcoming 2014 MTV Movie Awards, the network will launch a five-day programming takeover featuring Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson and Channing TatumSeth Rogen, Dwayne Johnson and Oscar-nominee Jonah Hill will also be on hand.

Starting April 7 and ending April 11, MTV reporter Josh Horowitz will interview the actors throughout the week about their must-see summer blockbusters.

As an added bonus, MTV will broadcast exclusive sneak peeks of those films every night, starting at 11:00 p.m. EST.

The impressive list of films being previewed include: “Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” (April 7) “22 Jump Street,” (April 8) “Hercules” (April 9) and “Neighbors” (April 10).

Conan O’Brien hosts the 23rd MTV Movie Awards, which airs April 13 on MTV at 9 p.m. EST.
