"Thor" star Chris Hemsworth will star in "Shadow Runner," an action thriller for Columbia Pictures, the studio announced Wednesday.
The studio released no details of the plot.
"Shadow Runner" is based on an idea by Hossein Amini, who is executive producing the movie.
Tripp Vinson and Beau Flynn, who recently announced that they're closing their Contrafilms shingle, are producing along with Will Ward of ROAR.
Hemsworth is also set to star in Contrafilm's upcoming remake of "Red Dawn," in Universal's "Snow White and the Huntsman" and in Lionsgate's "Cabin in the Woods."
