“Saturday Night Live” alum Chris Kattan has taken to Twitter to set the record straight about his DUI arrest early Monday morning, and for “those concerned or just adding gossip,” he’s fine, passed all the tests and was released without bail with his driver’s license.

According to him, at least.

The actor, who was an “SNL” cast member between 1996 and 2006, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of prescription drugs after his Mercedes collided with a Department of Transportation vehicle on the 101 Freeway near Van Nuys, Calif. where a crew was busy working on guard rail repair.

Although Kattan says he “passed all tests,” a TMZ video of the arrest shows him struggling to walk a straight line during a field sobriety test.

A spokesman for the California Highway Patrol told TheWrap that Kattan was booked for the misdemeanor and cooperated with authorities by submitting to a chemical toxicology test — the results of which won’t be available for weeks, so it’s impossible to say whether or not he “passed.”

Kattan was released without bail because it was his first offense. He is set to appear before a judge during the first week in March.
