Chris O’Donnell Keeps His ‘Batman & Robin’ Costume in a Crate in the Basement (Video)

The former George Clooney DC Universe sidekick appreciates the built-in cod piece

“NCIS: Los Angeles” star Chris O’Donnell talked performing his own stunts, riding camels in the desert (of L.A.?) and how ripped he was in his “Batman & Robin” days on TBS’ “Conan” Thursday.

O’Donnell admitted that he still has the Robin costume, which is either right next to his bed, or in a large, wooden crate in the family basement. It’s hard to tell from the conversation which option seems more likely, though he swore it’s the latter.

Then he and Conan discussed the necessity — or lack thereof — of a cod piece for the tight, heavy latex muscle suit. O’Brien personally has no need for one of those, he boasted.

“I’ve literally been lugging it around for 20 years,” O’Donnell said of the suit, rhetorically asking: “What are you going to do with it?”

“You should put it on and fight crime,” O’Brien replied, matter-of-factly.
