Looking forward to seeing Chris Rock on BET's "Real Husbands of Hollywood" when it returns for a second season?
Well, too bad — because it doesn't look like it's going to happen.

Despite reports to the contrary, Rock is not poised to replace Robin Thicke on the "Real Housewives of…" send-up, his rep told TheWrap on Tuesday.
The website HipHollywood reported Friday that Rock would be joining the show — which stars series co-creator Kevin Hart, along with Nick Cannon, Boris Kodjoe, Duane Martin, JB Smoove and Thicke — as Thicke's replacement for its second season.

“That’s a mentor and a friend to me … to have him just accept an invitation is huge to me," the website quoted Hart as saying, nothing that it gleaned the information "exclusively on the set of 'RHOH.'"
The story was subsequently picked up by a number of outlets, including Newsday and Vulture.

However, a spokeswoman for Rock told TheWrap that the report is "[n]ot true."
It would be surprising, if not completely out of the question, for Rock to join a television series. With the exception of his producing duties on shows such as "Everybody Hates Chris" and "The Hughleys," the comedian primarily occupies himself with big-screen offerings — though he did have a three-episode guest run on FX's "Louie." (Rock co-stars with Adam Sandler and Kevin James in the upcoming comedy "Grown Ups 2."
HipHollywood did, however, post a video of Rock hanging out with the cast members, in which he appears to be working with them in some capacity.
"I just watched the show and it seemed like they were having so much fun and I was like I want to have fun," Rock says in the video. “I’m a fan of Kevin … it’s rare when you actually get to work with each other and have fun."
Perhaps Rock is doing a guest-appearance on "Real Husbands of Hollywood." (A spokesperson for BET has not yet responded to TheWrap's request for comment.) Or he's joining with the show's cast for an elaborate, delayed April Fool's Day joke. Or the whole thing could be a hoax — if the government could fake the moon landing in the 1960s, this would certainly be possible with today's modern technology.
But if Rock's publicist is to be believed, he won't be joining the show as a regular.
