Christian Bale Battles Woody Harrelson in New ‘Out of the Furnace’ Trailer (Video)

Harrelson plays a dirty and dangerous backwoods criminal who makes a man disappear when he doesn’t go down in an underground fight as instructed

Woody Harrelson is one bad man in “Out of the Furnace,” an upcoming drama from “Crazy Heart” director Scott Cooper.

He’s so bad that even the police won’t mess with him, but blue-collar factory worker Christian Bale does when his brother, played by Casey Affleck, goes missing in their Rust Belt town and police officer Forest Whitaker tells him there’s nothing the law can do about it.

“It’s a whole ‘nother world up there, with their own breed of justice,” Whitaker explains. “And it does not include us.”

The crime drama, which co-stars Zoe Saldana, Willem Dafoe and Sam Shepard, hits theaters on Dec. 6.
