No one is more proud to be an American than Stephen Colbert. Which means that no one is more grateful to be away from the tyranny of the British monarchy that ruled us centuries ago.
That being said, it's almost royal baby time! And on Tuesday night, Colbert could not control his giddiness as he awaits whatever it is that will come out of the Duchess: Boy, girl, unicorn, hobbit or otherwise.

The "Great Kate Wait" is in full swing throughout England, the world and possibly even the galaxy. Or as Colbert puts it, "Kate the Great is three days late, I just can't wait for her to dilate."
"When will the heir to the crown, begin to crown?" Colbert wondered aloud as he started to get overwhelmed.
The "Colbert Report" host needed ice chips just to calm himself down.
