‘Colbert Report’ Time Slot to be Filled by Chris Hardwick, ‘@Midnight’ for 2 Weeks

“The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore” to take over 11:30 p.m. on Jan. 19

Now that Stephen Colbert and “The Colbert Report” have stepped down from the 11:30 Comedy Central throne, the time slot will be given (somewhat ironically) to Chris Hardwick’s series “@Midnight.”

“@Midnight,” a comedy improv show, has been airing after “The Colbert Report” since the program debuted in 2013. Starting Jan. 5, the show will follow “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.” On Jan. 19, the program will return to its regular 12 a.m. ET time slot in time for the premiere of “The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore.”

Upcoming 2015 panelists on “@Midnight” include Scott Aukerman, Doug Benson, Neal Brennan, Paget Brewster, Whitney Cummings, Andy Daly, Jon Daly, Ron Funches, Brett Gelman, Nikki Glaser, John Hodgman, Jen Kirkman, Hari Kondabolu, Marc Maron, Paul Scheer and Paul F. Tompkins.

“Funny or Die” produces the series, which was nominated for an “Outstanding Interactive Program” Emmy in 2014.

“@Midnight” is executive produced by Hardwick, Thomas Lennon and Robert Ben Garant.
