Cole Haan and Happy Marshall Productions docuseries “The American Dream Project” will be distributed on eight different platforms starting Tuesday, April 14. Those platforms are Amazon, Dailymotion, Google Play, iTunes, Ora TV, Vessel, Vimeo and YouTube.

“American Dream Project” stars filmmaker James Marshall — who some may recognize as the British husband of actress Isabella Rosellini’s daughter, model Elettra Wiedemann — and his American best friend, Todd Williams, who travel across the U.S. on motorcycles to examine the state of the American dream.

With just $250, the men relied heavily on the kindness of strangers by using social media to plot their course and find places to sleep, exchanging work for their keep. Along the way, they’ll meet a diverse range of inspiring Americans who will help them determine if the American dream is alive and well.

This is fashion lifestyle brand Cole Haan’s first film production. Last year, Happy Marshall Productions raised about $50,000 on Kickstarter to complete the film. Directed by Lauren Meyer and created and produced by Marshall, the docuseries was shot over five weeks with an eight- to 10-person crew.
