The Collective Hires Top Fremantle Ad Sales Exec Michele Fino

Fino will oversee ad sales for more than 150 channels

The Collective has hired Michele Fino to head up advertising sales and branded entertainment for its digital studio, the company announced on Wednesday.

The Collective Digital Studio represents YouTube talent like Freddie Wong and Dane Boedigheimer (“The Annoying Orange”), producing shows and handling the distribution of their channels on YouTube.

Fino, a former executive at "American Idol" and "X Factor" producer FremantleMedia, will sell ads against more than 150 channels from the company's New York office. She will report to chief revenue officer Alex Angeledes.

“As we continue to grow the media and content integration offerings tied to our major franchises like Freddie W, Annoying Orange, Rhett & Link, and Epic Meal Time as well as our other leading premium video platforms like Metacafe, Ebaums World, and Newgrounds, Michele’s deep experience creating successful brand integrations with top franchises like 'American Idol' will be a true asset,” Angeledes said in a staement. "She truly understands how to leverage popular entertainment properties to help marketers get their message across in an organic and appealing fashion at scale."
