Singer-impressionist-comedian Danny Gans -- barely known outside of Las Vegas but one of that city’s biggest draws -- died early Friday morning in his Vegas home.

He was 52; no cause of death has yet been announced. He complained of shortness of breath in at about 3:30 a.m., but was dead by the time paramedics arrived.

Larger than life funnyman Dom DeLuise died in his sleep Monday night at St. John's Health Center in Santa Monica, according to his son Michael DeLuise.

Legendary agent Sam Cohn, who cast a large shadow over the agency business as a whole and ICM in particular, died Wednesday in New York following a brief illness. He was 79.

Cohn, who retired from ICM in February, had a list of clients over the years that was unmatched. Names included Meryl Streep, Woody Allen, Susan Sarandon, Robert Altman, Paul Newman, Mike Nichols and Sigourney Weaver.

His role on Broadway was also significant, having represented influential stage talent like Bob Fosse, Arthur Miller and Arthur Penn.

Legendary Hollywood publicist Lee Solters died Monday at his West Hollywood home.

Solters, who represented such major stars as Frank Sinatra, Barbra Streisand and Michael Jackson, was 89.

The voice of Mickey Mouse has been silenced.

Wayne Allwine, who portrayed the famous Disney toon character since 1976, died in Los Angeles Monday from complications of diabetes. He was 62.

Allwine was only the third person to voice Mickey. He was preceded by Walt Disney himself, who introduced the character in the “Steamboat Willie” short in 1928, Jimmy Macdonald and Allwine, who worked under Macdonald as a sound-effects editor.
