Toronto Deals: Alec Baldwin, Patrick Wilson Team Up for Thriller 'Caught Stealing'

Wilson will play an alcoholic bartender who, back in the day, was a top baseball prospect. After looking after his neighbor's cat, he inadvertently gets caught up in a major conspiracy when it turns out a big secret is hidden in the feline's cage.
Baldwin plays a sadistic cop -- just one of the dangerous adversaries on Wilson's tail, a group that includes a Samoan hit man and some Russian mobsters.

In particular, her decision to turn the Shakespeare play into a glam-rock musical puts her at odds with her conservative neighbors.

Starring Audrey Tautou, the film is based on the novel of the same name by François Mauriac, and was the closing-night film of this year’s Cannes Film Festival. Previously filmed in 1962 by Georges Franju, the drama centers on the title character, a beautiful young woman who goes to extreme measures to escape her suffocating marriage.
A theatrical release in major markets is planned for the spring of 2013, to be followed by a VOD and DVD release.
