The father of one of two innocent young men identified as "Bag Men" on the cover of the New York Post is looking for a lawyer, saying the paper has refused to apologize for wrongly linking his 16-year-old son to the Boston Marathon bombings.

El Houssein Barhoum told The Washington Post that his son Salah sleeps just an hour or two a night since he was featured on the April 18 Post cover, four days after the bombings. The tabloid ran a story that afternoon saying the two on its cover had been cleared.

Kanye West Deletes All His Tweets, Leaves One: 'June Eighteen'

May, 02, 2013 7:33 am | Comments On #Due Date, June 18, june eighteen, Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, Television

Kanye West has gotten lots of attention for wild tweets, but on Thursday he drew notice for deleting them. The rapper removed everything he's ever tweeted and left just one message: "June Eighteen."

Alright, you might say: New Kanye album June 18! Maybe. Or it could be something else.

West's reality star ladyfriend, Kim Kardashian, announced she was pregnant with their child on Dec. 31. So it wouldn't be too big a guess to say he was giving his 9.4 million followers a due date.

Is West harnessing the power of social media to hype a baby being born? Is nothing sacred?

Possibly, and hahaha, no.

June 18 is a pretty good musical...

Jon Stewart Rips Obama on Guantanamo - and Says Look Out for PETA (Video)

May, 02, 2013 7:13 am | Comments On #foodboarding, Guantanamo Bay, Jon Stewart, prison, Television

Jon Stewart ridiculed President Obama for not following up on a campaign promise to close the Guantanamo Bay detention camp -- and accused the jailers there of "foodboarding."

On Wednesday's "Daily Show," Stewart highlighted Obama's softening statements since his 2008 pledge to close Guantanamo -- and worked in some jokes about Aquaman and PETA.

He acknowledged that Congress has stood in the way of Obama's efforts to close the prison. But he noted that the administration has the right to send particular prisoners home, and hasn't -- even though national security agencies have cleared about 86 prisoners for release if certain security conditions are met.

To protest their imprisonment in legal limbo, 100 of the 166 Guantanamo's prisoners have joined a hunger strike. Nineteen of them are reportedly being fed through nasal...

Booted 'Smash' Creator Speaks Out: See, It Wasn't My Fault

April, 30, 2013 7:31 pm | Comments On #NBC, smash, Television, theresa rebeck

For the ousted creator of NBC's "Smash," the responsibility for the show's demise doesn't lie at her feet.

In a spirited email exchange with BuzzFeed's chief Los Angeles correspondent, Theresa Rebeck feels that the show's rapidly dwindling ratings and exile to live out the rest of its days on Saturday nights proves that she wasn't the one who ruined the show.

"If in fact Theresa Rebeck was the problem with 'Smash' and the train wreck it became, wouldn't things have gotten better – rather than drastically worse – once she left?" Rebeck wrote the site in the third person.
