Comedy Central Plans Donald Trump Roast

“I’m confused as to how anybody could make fun of me,” says Trump.

Comedy Central will roast Donald Trump for a special to air next year, the network said Thursday.

“I’ll show up to the Roast because Comedy Central is paying me a lot of money, but I’m confused as to how anybody could make fun of me,” the real estate mogul said in a statement.

The show is scheduled to tape on March 9, 2011 in New York City, and the “Comedy Central Roast Of Donald Trump” will air sometime in the spring.

“Donald Trump is a brilliant business man, who has made the Trump name a worldwide brand,” said Elizabeth Porter, Comedy Central's senior vice president of specials and talent. “We are so glad he agreed to be Roasted. I'm hoping he buys me a plane."
