Comedy Central to Roast Kid Rock

Network announces first Roast taping since Donald Trump

Comedy Central has identified its next Roast target: Kid Rock.

The network announced on Monday that the five-time Grammy nominated singer — best known for his work on such albums as "Grits Sandwiches for Breakfast” and Pamela Anderson — will be skewered at the “Comedy Central Roast Of Kid Rock.”

The show is scheduled to tape on Sunday, August 14.

In March, Donald Trump was roasted by a lineup of comedians including “Family Guy” creator Seth MacFarlane, Jeffrey Ross, Lisa Lampanelli, Whitney Cummings and Anthony Jeselnik alongside Larry King, Snoop Dogg, Marlee Matlin and Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino from MTV’s “Jersey Shore" — who completely bombed.
