Comedy Central Unveils New Logo

Goodbye, wacky buildings

If you like the circle-around-a-C copyright symbol, you'll love Comedy Central's new branding.

(Unless you're some kind of weird copyright purist. Then you're going to hate it.)

The network's new logo, unveiled in a video Thursday, play off the copyright symbol and the initials CC, the old-timey abbreviation for carbon copy that we still use in emails today, for some reason.

The new logo replaces the wacky, outstretched high rises logo that used to accompany the name of the network, with the two words stacked on top of each other and both — how old-fashioned is this? — right-side up.

The new logo is the network's first in a decade.
