‘Community’ Star Donald Glover Tapped as First Host of MTVu’s ‘Woodie Awards’

"Community" star and would-be Spider-Man Donald Glover will host mtvU's first-ever "Woodie Awards," in which college students will honor emerging artists with an award consisting of a chunk of wood, the network announced.

"I'm really excited to be hosting The Woodies, (insert joke about award sounding like a penis)," Glover said in a statement.

The awards will air live on Wednesday, March 16 at 12 a.m. ET from the South by Southwest Festival. Performers include Wiz Khalifa, Sleigh Bells, Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All(OFWGKTA) and Two Door Cinema Club.
