O’Brien’s Team Coco YouTube channel passed 500 million views in January. All told, the channel, which premiered in 2010, has amassed 1.25 billion minutes watched, and has attracted more than 1.3 million subscribers.
On a monthly basis, the channel is averaging more than 40 million views.
The stats for O’Brien’s YouTube channel puts him well ahead of his late-night colleague David Letterman, whose “Late Show With David Letterman” YouTube channel has just shy of 8 million views, with a little more than 25,000 subscribers.
However, the YouTube channel for ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live” has slightly over 924 million views, with nearly four million subscribers.
Overall on the social-media landscape, O’Brien and Team Coco have nearly 10 million Twitter followers, 2.3 million Facebook likes and 4.5 million Google Plus followers, and have the youngest median age among all hour-long, late-night shows.
