TBS has renewed “Cougar Town” for a sixth and final season, an individual with knowledge of the situation told TheWrap.
“Cougar Town” stars Courteney Cox, Christa Miller, Busy Phillips, Dan Byrd, Josh Hopkins, Ian Gomez and Brian Van Holt. The series comes from Bill Lawrence’s Doozer.
The order is for a final 13 episodes.

“Cougar Town” follows a recently divorced woman (Cox) who decides to find some excitement in her dating life. Now, she’ll have one more year to party on the Turner cable network. This will be the comedy’s third season on TBS, following a move from ABC.
Cox was nominated for a Golden Globe in 2010 for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy, and in 2014, the show was nominated for a People’s Choice Award for Favorite Cable TV Comedy.
